OUR MEMBER OF THE MONTH IS...
Jeff Paul!

 

 

Member of the month is an honor that is earned by members who have gone beyond "just working out" to contribute positively to our community as a whole.  Each month, we select a member to recognize based on (but not limited too) their ability to exemplify the following: 

  1. A commitment to greatness
  2. Emphasis on movement standards
  3. Supportive of classmates (we are a TEAM!) 
  4. Introduces themselves to new faces
  5. A positive contribution to the classroom atmosphere- positive energy and enthusiasm
  6. Active participation and engagement throughout each aspect of class

  8. Shows pride for our community and shares it with others
  9. Wears and represents our box well
  10. Open to giving us feedback to improve overall experience

 

Time with Verge: 

I will have been a part of this community for 3 years at the start of August.

Favorite thing about Verge: 

Community, community, community… oh and the community. Everyone at Verge is amazing. Regardless if its someone’s first day or the start of their third year, every single individual brings positivity, acceptance, and the courage required to be great every single day.

My other favorite part of Verge is the ever evolving commitment to greatness. The willingness to challenge the known systems, to not be afraid to step out of a shadow and make their own path. Verge doesn’t only build great athletes but also great people, caring people, determined people. The type of people that “do”. The type of people that “I can’t” is not part of their vocabulary. The type of people that show up when no one would expect them to. That truly is a testament to what Verge has created… like it or not, you WILL become Great.

Greatest Accomplishment: 

Marrying my best friend and biggest supporter Lindsay. Without her there is no way I could be the person I am today.

Favorite movement / Lift: 

All of them. Some are a challenge, others build confidence.

One goal I am currently working on: 

I am in the process of really dialing in my nutrition habits. Probably the most challenging experiment I’ve done but I feel it’s the largest piece of my fitness and performance goals that I have been a bit too relaxed about over the years. 

One thing people might not know about me: 

Probably the hardest of all questions at this point in my time with Verge… Let’s see here… Oh! I am a huge fan or orchids! I love them, I always catch myself debating on buying more every time I see them, even though I have no space for them.
